dc.description.abstract | I review some of the recent work on the dynamics of four dimensional, N=1 supersymmetric QCD with a strong $SU(N_c)$ gauge interaction and $N_f$ matter chiral superfields in the [$N_c$] representation and $N_f$ antimatter fields in the [$bar{N_c}$] representation. All the matters are massless in the tree level, so there is a global symmetry $SU(N_f)_L$ times $SU(N_f)_R$ × $U(1)_A$ × $U(1)_B$ × $U(1)_R$. The kinematics is largely determined by holomorphy of superpotential. For $N_f<N_c$, there is no vacuum due to the dynamically generated superpotential. For $N_f = N_c$, there exists confinement with chiral symmetry breaking from the smootheng process of the classical moduli space. And for $N_f = N_c + 1$, there exists confinement without chiral symmetry breaking. | eng |
