Jet phenomena in the broken color gauge theory = 칼라 대칭이 부서진 게이지 이론에서의 제트 현상

The spontaneous symmetry breaking of the local color symmetry of the standard model, $SU(3)^c\times{SU}(2)_L\times{U}(1)$, is considered to yield integer charged quarks. The jet phenomena such as high $P_T$ jet processes and transversely polarized $e^+e^-$ annihilation processes are studied in the broken color gauge theory, in comparison with the standard QCD. In the high $P_T$ jet processes, we find that the gluons of the pion tend to carry a small fraction of the momentum of the fragmenting pion, while the sea quarks carry a relatively large fraction to fit the present data with the broken color gauge theory. In the three jets production process by the transversely polarized $e^+e^-$ annihilation, the significantly different results are obtained between these two theories for $q^2/mg^2\gtrsim 400$, although we cannot see any significantly different predictions from these two theories in two jets production process.
