전산기에 의한 공작기계의 수치제어에 관한 연구A study on the computer numerical control of machine tool
Conventional NC system에 비하여 여러가지 장점을 갖는 CNC system을 이용한 공작기계의 자동화가 바람직하다.
본 연구에서 설계한 CNC system은 pluse motor로 구동하는 open loop system이며 mini-computer (PDP-8/E,12K) 가 logic controller역활을 한다. Operator``s control panel 및 interface를 설계 제작하고 기존 milling machine을 연결하여 system을 구성한다. 또한 가공을 위한 programming 언어를 부분적으로(2차원) 개발하였다.
완성된 CNC milling machine은 2차원 시험가공 결과 만족스러웠다. 그러나 programming 언어가 완전치 못하므로 현장에의 활용은 아직 이르다. 따라서 CNC programming 언어 즉 software의 개발이 요구된다.
