As the financial market grows, modern financial decision support systems need an efficient framework that enables us to mix and match the financial products and the various models dynamically. This paper proposes an object-oriented framework for decoupling the analytical models from the data objects representing the financial products and for integrating each other according to their connection needs. In developing the framework, we propose the basic mechanisms for managing data and models separately and concrete object-oriented constructs for manipulating them effectively. Moreover, we extend the framework to a client-server computing environment with component software technologies such as CORBA and DCOM.
