The improvement in the quality of labor have a close relationship between the investment in human capital and economic growth. The economists have emphasized the investment in education and health as the two pricipal forms of expenditures on human capital. Health, in particular, child``s one is posited to have more substantial and direct impact in human capital than that of education. The purpose of the thesis is to identify what factors contribute to the commodity of "good health" and to understand how they interact each other. Unlike traditional studies, moters`` concern for health care is found to have more direct impact on child``s health than their mother``s educational achievement. Rather, mothers`` educational achievement play an important role on efficient allocation of resources related to improvement of child``s health. Major policy implication is that policy makers should focus on health education program which enable mothers more concerned about health care as a cost-effective policy for improving overall health.
