dc.description.abstractThe mixed finite element method for Stokes equations in primitive variables is based on finding of a pair of finite element spaces which satisfy the Babuska-Brezzi condition. And it leads to a symmetric indefinite matrix. In the solution processes, an efficient and fast solver for elliptic problem is the multigrid method. We find a pair of spaces satisfying the Babuska-Brezzi condition. To find an efficient solver for the Stokes problem, we present some numerical experiments.eng
