(The) corner problem on second-order absorbing boundary conditions for the wave equation

Abstract

The cornoer problem comes about when two second-order absorbing boundary conditions on straight lines intersect at a point. Especially, we make a good corner condition at intersecting point 0 for any intersecting angle $\theta$ and develop the weak formulation of the initial boundary value problem with the developed corner condition. Then we prove the uniqueness and existence of weak solution. Finally we present the numerical experiments.
