Most insurance companies rely on Financial Consultant (FC) to attract prospects. FC receives commission from the company in requital for taking out an insurance policy of new customer. There are two unnecessary costs caused by the interaction between insurance company and FC. From an insurance company of view, the insurance company should pay a large sum of commission to FC. In the same manner, financial consultants must spend their time in searching for prospects. If there were ways to bring about efficacy of costs, it would be beneficial to insurance company as well as FC.
This thesis suggests how both insurance company and FC can save their payment by two emerging concepts, Extended Enterprise (EE) and Infomediary business model.
