dc.description.abstract | In this thesis, the noncoherent reception performance of fast frequency hopping spread spectrum communication systems operated in channels with impulsive noise and multipath fading characteristics is investigated. For the impulsive noise, the $\varepsilon$-contaminated mixture model is used. The system s use binary frequency shift keying mudulation and noncoherent demodulation, in which limiter-squarer detectors or squarers are used to detect signals. The expressions for bit error rate as functions of channel and system parameters are obtained. | eng |
