dc.description.abstractThe reflection and transmission characteristics of a circular-to-rectangular single T-junction are analyzed. The technique of Fourier transform and mode matching is used to represent the transmitted and scattered fields as rapidly-convergent series. An approximate dominant-mode solution is derived in a closed form. Computations show that our result is numerically efficient and accurate, thus useful for practical application.eng
