Normalization and functional dependency augmented with multivalued dependency are the central notions of the relational data model. But these concepts do not give satisfiable indication to the representation of the real world. Furthermore 4NF does not remove data redundancy completely. In order to resolve these problems we introduce new concepts of dependency : primitive dependency and derived dependency. The grouping process is also suggested to remove the data redundancy.eng
