2-Hydroxy-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes were synthesized by the hydrolysis of 2-chloro-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes which were prepared from the reaction of phosphorus trichloride with 1,3-glycols. The reaction of cyclic hydrogen phosphites with trichloromethanesulfenyl chloride gave the 2-oxo-2-trichloromethylthio-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes. Possible mechanism of this reaction was discussed. Cyclic dithiophosphoric acids were synthesized from phosphorus pentasulfide and 1,2- or 1,3-glycols which have branched chain(s). Reaction of these compounds with trichloromethanesulfenyl chloride resulted in SS-trichloromethyl cyclic thioperoxymonophosphorothionate. S,S``-bis(cyclic phosphorus) thiol esters were synthesized by the reaction of cyclic dithiophosphoric acids with bi-functional acid chlorides.
