Lithium metal batteries, utilizing Li metal as the anode, have gained attention as a potential solution to increase the driving range of electric vehicles due to their high energy density. However, they face challenges related to low cycle life, and despite the development of electrolytes to address this issue, the problem of Li corrosion persists. Therefore, an understanding of the issues that may arise at the interface due to Li corrosion in the electrolyte is necessary. By observing Li stripping behavior resulting from these interface changes, we aim to ultimately apply optimal discharge conditions for lithium metal batteries to enhance the battery's lifespan characteristics.-
