Park and ride (PNR) is an important component of traffic demand management strategy which allows commuters to park their cars in a parking site and take public transport to their destinations. Papers aim to estimate the performance of PNR tends to establish an equilibrium model to evaluate commuters' mode choice behavior and route choice behavior. This paper is intended to provide a VI formulated, combined mode split and traffic assignment model. A self-adaptive projection based solution is proposed. The self-adaptive method is capable of automatically change the step size based on the information derived from previous iterations. A numerical case study is also provided to illustrate the efficiency and robustness of the proposed algorithm.
