dc.description.abstractAs the demand for joint communication and sensing system that simultaneously support radar sensing and high-speed data communication increases in the fields of 6G communication and autonomous driving, a study on beamforming technology is being actively conducted. Multibeam is an essential technology for transmitting data and simultaneously detection targets. In this dissertation, a sensing beam design technology and multibeam combining method are described. First, in a MIMO-OFDM system, when the number of beams is smaller than the number of antennas, the performance of target parameter estimation can be improve by designing a sensing beam that minimizes the channel estimation error. Second, the proposed method allows the communication channel to remain stable while scanning the region of interest with the combined beams. The sensing BF gain is also improved by making the sidelobe of the communication beam contribute to increasing the BF gain of the sensing beam.-
