Biological interfaces are in various tissues while having multilayered anisotropic structures with unique cells and extracellular matrix compositions. The cells break symmetry by self-assembly caused by anisotropic structures of the interfaces. Conventional studies emphasized the physical and biological importance of biological interfaces but limited phenomenon observation since they could not reconstruct the system with the cellular self-assembly. In this thesis, I reconstructed the biological interface with each layer-specific cell and extracellular matrix. With the model, I will introduce various cellular interactions, including inflammation and morphogenesis, by self-assembly of immune, epithelial, and mesenchymal cells.-
