dc.description.abstractExciton-polariton is a bosonic quasiparticle made by strong coupling between photon in cavities and exciton. GaN hexagonal microrods has a large rabi splitting due to whispering gallery mode and large exciton binding energy, exciton-polariton can be observed at room temperature. But when laser applied to GaN microrod, two kind of whispering gallery mode (Triangular, Hexagonal) which made by total internal reflection in hexagonal symmetry cross section, and Fabry-perot mode which emits at edge of microrod can occur simultaneously. So we have challenge problem about difficulties to analysis specific mode we want. In this thesis, to separate Fabry-perot mode and whispering gallery mode, excitation spot size was modulated. Besides different polariton condensation behavior with excitation spot size are investigated. Possibility of separating whispering gallery polaritons mode we want by using far-field interference pattern presented-
