We report discrete aqueous two-phase microextraction with simultaneous electrohydrodynamic generation of a single droplet. Since a ammonium sulfate-rich phase droplet generated actively by electric pulse has higher solubility of ruthenium red, ruthenium red is concentrated into the droplet. As a result, about 13mM of concentration of ruthenium red is achieved with 4.4 of the distribution coefficient.-
