In this paper, the absorbed power density (APD) distribution in the phantom provided by IEC TC 106 is analyzed for the effects of changes in the dielectric characteristics of the phantom shell. The effect of the phantom shell was calculated and analyzed through absorbed power density. using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method in the 6-10 GHz. A dipole antenna designed to have resonant frequencies at five frequencies, intervals of 1 GHz for the 6-10 GHz band, was considered as electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation source. In order to analyze the relative permittivity of the phantom shell and its changes by frequency, the phantom and phantom shell were considered as an impedance model, and the input impedance in the direction of absorption from the air into the human body was calculated. Comparisons of results in the phantom according to frequency and antenna type are presented.
