dc.description.abstract | For the high performance and long-term stability of Pt/C catalyst for polymer electrolyte fuel cell, the deactivation of the catalysts by agglomeration, dissolution or detachment of Pt particles from carbon support have to be improved. For this purpose, we adopted a new shape of nano-carbon material for the surface modification of Pt catalyst. Our Pt nano particles encapsulated with porous graphene shells showed similar initial activity compared with the commercial catalysts showing more than 150% higher long-term stability. | - |
