Not only the chemical disinfection method, there is a physical disinfection method without direct stimulation by ultraviolet and visible light. In particular, disinfection by visible light is effective for sterilizing indoors without a person. 405 nm radiation reacts with the porphyrin of bacteria, generates oxidative damage to bacteria, and destroys them. The aim of this study was to manufacture a module of 405 nm laser diode (LD) and evaluate the sterilization effect of light. A bacteria was placed at a distance of 5 cm from 405 nm LD, and the light was exposed for 1, 3 and 6 hours. As a result, it was confirmed that the sterilization effect on E. coli improved as the exposure time increased. Therefore, we intend to develop an intelligent prevention system by controlling the exposure time and intensity of 405nm LD.-
