양극 접합(Bipolar junction)이 삽입된 게이트 구조의 메모리 소자 및 그 제조 방법이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 양극 접합 게이트 메모리 소자는 기판에 형성되는 소스 및 드레인; 상기 기판에 형성되는 게이트 유전막; 및 상기 게이트 유전막 상에 형성되는 양극 접합이 삽입된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다.
