We introduce a novel manufacturing technique for facile fabrication of low-cost, multidimensional 3D printed optogenetic probes (3D-POPs) with enhanced customizability. This approach does not require tedious cleanroom procedures and complex fabrication equipment, henceforth can speed up prototyping of neural probes for diverse neuroscience studies at extremely low cost.
