IPLFS의 블록 비활성화 처리 과정 분석(An) analysis on block invalidation process of IPLFS
IPLFS는 가비지 컬렉션이 없는 로그 구조 파일시스템으로, 블록 자원 관리가 SSD에 집중된다. IPLFS는 논리 블록 주소를 재사용하지 않기 때문에 디스카드 명령이 블록 비활성화 정보를 전달하는 유일한 수단이다. 본 연구에서는 IPLFS의 디스카드 처리 과정을 고려한 분석 모델을 수립하여 디스카드 전달 속도 및 저장 장치 이용률에 따른 쓰기 증폭의 변화를 분석한다. 모델을 토대로 IPLFS의 가비지 컬렉션 시간을 최소화하는 기법을 제안한다. 실험을 통해 디스카드 전달 속도와 저장 장치 이용률이 IPLFS의 쓰기 증폭에 영향을 끼치는 것을 발견했다.
