dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we propose low complexity beam designs for practical wireless communication systems under realistic constraints. The use of multiple antennas effectively increases the data rate of communication systems. The efficiency, however, highly depends on the beamformer design, which determines how to operate each antenna. The beamformer design is constrained by the system structure, e.g., transmit power budgets, and imperfect channel information. For two practical communication systems, one with the per-antenna power constraint (PAPC) and the other with reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), we propose low complexity beamformer designs. With simulation results, the proposed beamformer designs proved their high data rate even with low complexities. | - |
