dc.description.abstract | Due to exceptional color purity and other promising attributes (defect tolerance, bipolar charge transport, low-cost material and photon recycling), metal halide perovskite has been attracting interest as the next-generation materials for light-emitting diodes. In this thesis, we present strategies to enhance luminescence efficiency through constructing type I band alignment with low-dimensional perovskite or passivation layer such as polymer and alkali metal halide. Also, we have modulated growth kinetics unique to thermal evaporation to form fine-grain structured inorganic perovskite CsPbBr$_3$ film and the results that highlight the potential of vacuum-processed CsPbBr$_3$ films for high efficiency light-emitting diodes. | - |
