dc.description.abstractAlong with the growth of the AI market, the importance of related research has emerged. It is predicted that AI will change the world's work, and it has been suggested that AI has the potential to become the next GPT. Appropriate knowledge acquisition methods in the context of technological innovation are important for companies that expect innovation through the introduction of AI. In this study, a patent-based study was conducted to see the effect of introducing AI on the exploitation method, which is a kind of knowledge acquisition method. As a result of reviewing previous studies, there are many studies that specify the importance of exploitation, but there is a lack of studies to find out the direct relationship between whether or not companies have introduced AI. This study confirms the connection between AI technology and exploitation, and reveals the appropriate knowledge acquisition method that companies choose for innovation. It provides insights on knowledge-based innovation strategies that companies should take when adopting AI.-
