Development of air purification process in smoking booth by optimizing gas-liquid contacting performance of impeller scrubber임펠러 스크러버의 기-액 접촉 성능 최적화를 통한 흡연부스 내 공기정화 공정 개발
According to the National Health Promotion Act revised in 2015, all workplaces regardless of the area were defined as non-smoking areas. As a result, the installation of smoking booths in streets and workplaces is accelerating. However, there is currently no suitable technology to purify and emit the air inside the smoking room, causing damage to nearby pedestrians. ETS is a substance classified as a carcinogen by the U.S. Federal Environment Agency in 1992 that includes non-mainstream smoke produced by burning the ends of cigars, regular cigarettes, and cigarette smoke that enters and discharges the lungs of smokers. ETS is mostly non-mainstream acting. It contains more than 4,000 harmful substances. In addition, it is threatening the respiratory health of citizens because it generates a lot of particulate matters (PM). Therefore, in this thesis, to solve the air purification problem in the smoking booth, I characterized an impeller with optimized gas-liquid contact performance and an air purification process with wet scrubber.
