코엔자임 Q10의 생합성에 관여하는 글루코노박터 옥시단스(Gluconobacter oxidans) 621H 유래의 데카프레닐 디포스페이트 합성효소(decaprenyl diphosphate synthetase; DPS)를 코딩하는 유전자(ddsA)가 도입된 코엔자임 Q10 생성능을 가지는 재조합 미생물 및 이를 이용한 코엔자임 Q10의 제조방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 재조합 미생물은 부산물인 코엔자임 Q9의 생성을 제한함으로써, 코엔자임 Q10의 생성능을 향상시킬 수 있어 코엔자임 Q10의 제조에 유용하다. 데카프레닐 디포스페이트 합성효소, 코엔자임 Q10, 재조합 미생물
