An angled-dipole antenna with angled directors that can be applied to wide-angle scanning phased array antennas is presented. The dipole antenna is angled for a small form factor. To realize a wide beam-width pattern, a pair of angled directors and an etched ground plane are used. For a wide frequency range of operation, an integrated balun is used to feed the proposed antenna. The proposed antenna has an impedance bandwidth of 4.9-7.3 GHz for -10dB reflection coefficient. At 5.8GHz, the proposed antenna has a half power beam-width of 203°in E-plane and 225°in H-plane.
