dc.description.abstract | Wearable display technology is rapidly evolving. However, given that wearable displays are manufactured on hard or plastic substrates, they are not comfortable when worn on the human body, and are limited to one component of an electronic device worn on the body. In order to realize a true wearable display, one approach is to create the display on fabric or thread. This seminar covers how to fabricate OLEDs and TFTs on fabrics and on threads to create a true wearable textile display. | - |
