dc.description.abstract | Wireless power transfer technology has been widely adopted to the various applications. However, wireless power transfer technology has two limitations. One is the charging distance limitation and low system efficiency at long distance. The other is the leakage electromagnetic field problem since it uses magnetic field as energy transfer media. To mitigate these limitations, metamaterial is proposed. In this thesis, we study the hybrid metamaterial slab which uses negative metamaterial unit cell and zero metamaterial unit cell and multi-stack hybrid metamaterial which is stacked hybrid metamaterial to maximize system efficiency and reduce leakage electromagnetic field. Moreover, we propose modeling method for metamaterial and wireless power transfer system with metamaterial to predict efficiency enhancement effect before measurement. | - |
