dc.description.abstract | Direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide is attracting attention as an efficient and environmental way to replace existing methods of using anthraquinone containing solvent. However, it is essential for the development of efficient metal catalysts because of water formation and self-decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. In this dissertation, the use of zeolite-templated carbon as an efficient carbon support showed high hydrogen peroxide selectivity as well as high hydrogen activity. Zeolite-templated carbon with its unique three-dimensional connected micropore and rich oxygen contents, was able to efficiently disperse metal particles and block side reactions with fast molecular diffusion. Furthermore, we analyze the correlation with direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide reaction results through physical and chemical analysis of zeolite-templated carbon. | - |
