dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the development and analysis of conformal antenna array for proximity fuse as one of the defense technologies. The main objective is to design a small antenna with broad beamwidth and wide bandwidth. The conformal array is designed as a truncated rectangular pyramid with five patches. The simulation results present significantly wide beamwidth in both E-plane and H-plane and 1 GHz bandwidth at 24 GHz. From the simulated results, the miniaturized conformal antenna array with tilted patches is beneficial to detect the target accurately and widely.-
