This paper proposes a wireless positioning system that exploits dual-connectivity in broadcast-broadband convergence (BcBbC) networks. An architectural idea is introduced to obtain range information in single frequency television networks. The presented system is carefully designed to comply with normative Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 systems, so that it eases the realization of wireless positioning in practice. Emphasizing the proposed system's viability, possible applications and use cases are also introduced in the sequel. © 2021 IEEE.
