Crystal growth, spectroscopy and femtosecond laser performance of Tm, Na:CNGG disordered garnet crystal

We report on the crystal growth, spectral properties, and mode-locked laser operation of Tm, Na:CNGG, generating pulses as short as 84 fs at ∼2018 nm using single-walled carbon nanotubes as a saturable absorber.
