모션을 처리하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 일실시예에 따른 모션 처리 방법은 입력 모션에 선형 가우시안 모델을 적용하여 베이스 레벨 모션을 획득하는 단계, 입력 모션 및 베이스 레벨 모션 사이의 변위 벡터에 선형 가우시안 모델을 적용하여 제어 가능한 모션 변위 벡터 및 잔여 모션 변위 벡터를 획득하는 단계 및 베이스 레벨 모션 및 제어 가능한 모션 변위 벡터에 기초하여, 출력 모션을 합성하는 단계를 포함한다.
