Abstract

The development of biopharmaceuticals has provided an opportunity to challenge diseases that synthetic medicines have not been able to solve in the past. Biopharmaceuticals, especially antibody-based protein medicines, are widely applied in the treatment of diseases. The global biopharmaceutical market is growing rapidly, surpassing the growth rate of the synthetic medicine market. As the market for biopharmaceuticals develops and demand grows, the production of biopharmaceuticals and the protection of technology have become essential. However, the development stage is still in its early stages. Many pharmaceutical companies are working in a single institution, from raw materials to finished products. This paper is intended to diagnose problems that may arise from the selection of existing cell lines, culture, purification and validation in one institution. Also, here proposes the efficiency of the outsourcing of each step and suggests ease of technology protection. The modern medicines market has been revitalized, and outsourcing has been used mainly in the course of severe bioequivalence experiments. Each production process of biopharmaceuticals also requires highly specialized technology, and this outsourcing strategy will significantly contribute to industrial development by improving the expertise.
