As the demand for energy storage devices with high energy densities and safety is increasing, all solid-state batteries (ASSBs) based on inorganic solid electrolytes are attracting attention. However, all solid-state batteries are difficult to form a uniform lithium conduction network in the cell, and the fabrication processes consist of complex multi-steps and is thus time consuming and costly, which is not suitable for large-scale manufacturing. In this thesis, the contact between electrolyte particles and ionic conductivity have been enhanced by introducing polymer into the electrolyte layer. Also, a solution-processed ASSBs engaging proper solvents and binders have been demonstrated, which can preserve the high performance of dry mixing-based counterparts in the key battery properties, with the feasibility toward mass production.
