protein nano-prisms.; Numerous interactions in nature employ multivalent binding, where multiple ligands on one entity bind to multiple receptors on another. The avidities resulted in multivalent presentation of a ligand are orders of magnitude stronger than those for the corresponding monovalent interaction. Thanks to these unique collective properties, multivalent interaction is extensively used strategy to achieve high selectivity and affinity in researching area as well as in nature. But the detailed mechanism of these multivalent interactions and specific rule of binding is not revealed. Chapter 1 provides current understandings of multivalent interaction that kinetically approaches to the behavior and covers recent strategies for designing supramolecular protein assembly. Chapter 2 describes the changes of kinetic values ($k_{on} and k_{off}$) upon valency change of the protein-peptide pairs having different binding chemistry. By employing these multivalent interaction to nano-assembly, chapter 3 introduces a strategy to fabricate monodisperse protein assemblies
