본 발명은 프로그램된 세포사멸 단백질 1과 특이적으로 결합 가능한 신규한 폴리펩타이드, 상기 폴리펩타이드를 코딩하는 폴리뉴클레오타이드, 상기 폴리뉴클레오타이드를 포함하는 벡터, 상기 발현벡터가 도입된 재조합 미생물, 상기 재조합 미생물 이용한 상기 폴리펩타이드의 제조방법, 상기 폴리펩타이드를 포함하는 암 예방 또는 치료용 조성물 및 상기 폴리펩타이드를 포함하는 암 예방 또는 치료용 조성물을 투여하는 것을 포함하는, 암을 예방 또는 치료하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 폴리펩타이드는 프로그램된 세포사멸 단백질 1에 결합하여 그의 활성을 억제할 수 있으므로, 프로그램된 세포사멸 단백질 1과 연관된 다양한 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 제제로 널리 활용될 수 있다.
