COMMON GATE AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT AND POWER AMPLIFIER USING SAME

Abstract

Provided are a common gate amplifier circuit and a power amplifier using the same, the power amplifier including: a common-source amplifier circuit and a common-gate amplifier circuit. One terminal of the common-source amplifier circuit is connected to a Radio Frequency (RF) input terminal and commonly uses a source terminal as an input terminal and an output terminal of the power amplifier. One terminal of the common-gate amplifier circuit is connected to the common-source amplifier circuit and the other terminal is connected to the RF output terminal, and the gate terminals are commonly used as the input terminal and the output terminal of the power amplifier. The common-gate amplifier circuit includes a doherty amplifier including a main power amplifier and an auxiliary power amplifier connected in parallel to the main power amplifier.
