dc.description.abstractWe propose one-dimensional planar metamaterial perfect absorbers whose dispersion can be artificially engineered by stacking different materials with subwavelength-scale thicknesses. The proposed metamaterial absorber shows average light absorption of 97% from the wavelength of 500 nm to 1400 nm with wide acceptance angles at both polarizations.-
