이동통신 시스템에서 핸드오버 수행 방법 및 장치METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING HANDOVER IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM
단말의 전력 소모를 감소시킬 수 있는 2가지 방안이 제안된다. 첫 번째 방식은 단말의 슬립모드(SLEEP MODE) 진입 시, 단말의 전력 소모를 최소화할 수 있는 세트(set)를 선택하는 방법이다. 두 번째 방식은 슬립모드(SLEEP MODE)에 진입한 단말이 핸드오버 시에 협력 기지국 set에 따른 슬립모드를 유지한 상태에서의 핸드오버 방식을 제안한다.
