본 발명은 자일로즈로부터 폴리(락테이트-co-글라이콜레이트)와 그 공중합체 생산능을 가지는 재조합 미생물에 관한 것으로 더욱 자세하게는, 외부로부터의 글라이콜레이트 프리커서를 공급없이도 폴리(락테이트-co-글라이콜레이트)와 그 공중합체를 생산하는 능력을 가지는 재조합 미생물 및 이를 이용한 폴리(락테이트-co-글라이콜레이트) 공중합체의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
