Optimal evasive maneuver strategy of homing missiles = 호밍 미사일의 최적 회피 기동 전략

In this thesis, a three-dimensional optimal evasive maneuver strategy for air-to-surface or surface-to-surface homing attack missile to enhance the survivability of the missile against proportionally navigated anti-air defense missile is investigated. Interception errors of the defense missile can be generated by an evasive maneuver of the homing attack missile during the flight time for which the defense missile intercepts the attack missile. We propose the adjoint homing loop and convolution integral to get the interception errors of the defense missile. Performance index is defined to maximize these interception errors. The direct input parameter optimization technique based on SQP and a co-evolution method based on the augmented Lagrangian formulation are adopted to get the attack missile``s optimal evasive maneuver patterns. The optimal evasive trajectories of the homing missile are kinds of deformed barrel-roll shape. And the survivability of the homing missile is weakened as the time constant of the defense missile is decreased, the time constant of the homing missile is increased and the navigation constant of the defense missile is increased.
