Design of metasurface by theoretical analysis method and realization of high angular tolerance colorfilters이론적 분석방법 기반의 메타표면 설계와 이를 활용한 광시야각 컬러필터 구현

In order to replace these conventional filters, structural colorfilters, which utilize light-matter interaction between incident light and structural array smaller than wavelength, have been actively studied. Structural designs can be classified by forms of resonances and each structure has each own merits and demerits. In this research, we demonstrate the method to design structural colorfilter based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) that have sharp bandwidth and high angular tolerance. Through the finite-differentiate time-domain (FDTD) method, numerical calculation is conducted to analyze spectral and angular properties of each structure. Also, the new theoretical analysis method, transfer-matrix method (TMM) combined with the coupled mode theory (CMT), are suggested. With the analysis method, lower bound of bandwidth is determined and optimal structures are proposed.
