Wrinkle structure is one of spontaneously formed structures driven by mechanical instability. Its continuous undulating morphological feature, rather uniform periodicity and good accessibility have vastly drawn interests. However, controlling the orientation of the wrinkle has always been the limitation especially for the nano-scale wrinkles. In this thesis, I present a strategy to assist the orientation control of nano-scale wrinkle. Along with utilizing boundary condition in a confinement, thickness-gradient of substrate was used. The thickness-gradient was spontaneously given by the menisci of wetted resin. The methods used in this study are compatible with conventional wafer-level handling process and applicable on a large-area.
