dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents algorithm that is suitable to implement in encoding low-density parity-check (LDPC) code. Since existing studies only focused on designing decoding architectures for LDPC codes or constructing LDPC codes with high decoding performance, the existing high performance LDPC codes are hardly implemented with practical encoding architectures. In addition, degradation of decoding performances is inevitable when the existing LDPC codes are implemented in encoding hardware architectures. To overcome this limitations, encoding method is proposed to efficiently implement LDPC codes with encoding hardware. To use the proposed encoding method, a parity-check matrix construction method with few design constraints and little performance degradation is also proposed. | - |
