The proportion of elderly pedestrians among traffic accident fatalities in Seoul is 72% in 2016, which is very high compared to the national average. In addition, the Korean society including Seoul is aging, and the number of elderly road users is increasing. In this study, the crash injury severity of elderly pedestrians in Seoul was investigated by using a multinomial logit model. Moreover, the age group of the elderly was divided into 65 - 74 years old and over 75 years old, and the difference between the two age groups was intensively examined. Factors such as pedestrian age, sex, injured vehicle, pedestrian position, time of day were related to the severity of injury, and there was a clear difference between the younger-old and older-old age groups.-
